"Sunny" featuring Ron Sexsmith with Melanie Doane and the students of Doane Music School
I recently had the pleasure of singing an old song with Melanie Doane and the very talented kids form the Doane School of Music.
Doane Music School was founded 15 years ago by Melanie to bring quality music programming with no barriers, to kids in the GTA. What began with a small group of students has grown to just over 1400 weekly participants with world class artists taking notice and lending their voice.
We covered the song “Sunny” that you may recall from the 1960’s. We even filmed a neat video performing it on a Toronto streetcar with all the kids and their ukuleles. I hope you take a moment to enjoy the video, it’s quite special and all for a great cause.
